There are two branches for ubermix, leading-edge and stable, which correspond with [http://www.ubuntu.com Ubuntu's] regular and [https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LTS "Long Term Support" (LTS)] releases. In general, for most applications we recommend using the most recent release available. While at certain times this version might be the "stable" release, keep in mind that "stable" in the open source world means "doesn't change much" and is often code for "old". As such, don't be afraid to use a non-"stable" version. They are just as reliable as "stable" versions.

'''''Please also note:''''' Due to the necessary increase in the size of the base system partition, ubermix versions 0.913 and up will not be installable on EeePC 90x series devices, as they lack the appropriate available space on their primary drive.
