As for the hostname issue, you can save a bunch of time by just manually setting the hostnames using the option on the key described at [[Change Default Host Names]]. Hey Ronald, thanks for the new instructions! One quick question: turning off the hostname update should no longer be an issue as of v0.911 of ubermix. Are you using an older version, or are you still experiencing this issue on a version since v0.911?

I don't know if I have the newest version or not? How do I check the version of ubermix (because I know it is based on ubuntu)

I also had a problem with /etc/skel and I had to make modifications. I had no problems on other versions of linux (opensuse, etc) but for some reason I could not just do a copy -r from the home. instead I just specified the specific files. (the .config .local, etc) I will update this until I fix all the bugs. I keep finding little errors that I made. Sorry for the problems.

-Ron
