Brightness controls

On some newer model netbooks, like the Asus EeePC 1001P, the brightness controls don't work correctly out of the box. To resolve this issue, do the following:

Open a terminal (ctrl-alt-t) and type the following:

/usr/local/lib/brightness/fix.sh

Next, reboot your machine, and your brightness controls should work properly.
