Presently, I am a computer network support tech at Stockton Unified School District, Stockton, CA. I work in the Curriculum Department, in the Professional Development Center. I support technology (computers, printers, scanners, projectors, and programs) in the classroom. My duties include all the devices that are networked over the internet, for use in the classroom. And, I maintain a database of assets (computers and all ip devices) working in the District. Other duties include the processing/imaging of new computers to be setup in classrooms for student use. My latest project is to test Linux on working older computers, that had a Windows OS, and have been replaced by newer computers in the classroom.
